Our fleet

Our number-one priority is the horse’s comfort every step of the way. We therefore own an extensive and well-equipped fleet. We feel standard horseboxes are not always suitable for our kind of transportation, which has led us to design our own and have them built.

Gelissen Horse Transport has 10 horse trucks and 5 trailers, allowing for 5 possible combinations. We also drive two smaller horse trucks. All our vehicles are ventilated, temperature controlled and equipped with cameras and water supply. Based on our experience we have added some special features to our designs, such as the option for the drivers to inspect the horses and supply them with feed and water from the outside, without them having to enter the horsebox and engage with the horses. We are especially keen on maintenance. Damage is reported on return immediately and repaired as soon as possible.
